Description
Beyond a shelter - it is a home for battered or homeless women and their children. This is a faith based program designed to help women change their lives, free of abuse, homelessness, and the difficulties of life on the streets....through supplying their needs, classes, counseling, completing their education and job placements. Our goal is to help them become an independent and successful person that can go back into our community. Although, our average length of stay may be 3-6 months, some stay much longer if that is what is needed. We also have Hannah's House Complex, which provides independent apartment living based on income, available for those who are ready to move on to the next phase of their life or if they become homeless and already have an income. This is also considered permanent supportive housing for homeless women and children.SERVICES we provide:
*Initial Assessment of needs
* Food
*Shelter
*Budgeting
*Counseling (DV, Addictions, etc)
*Medical or dental assist as needed
*Parenting classes
*Transportation to and from medical appointments, school and jobs
*Educational counseling
*Vocational skills counseling
*Assisting to Find jobs
*Assisting in long term goals
*Assisting with finding permanent housing
