Question & Answers (5)
Is this shelter free?
Yes, "but" they have their picks, they refuse service to people for no reason at all. You would be better off going somewhere else than going to Brothers Keepers! To make a long story short; If I were to rate this organization on a scale of 1 thru 10, I would give it a .05, this is not a subjective assessment, this is 100% "objective"!
Brothers' Keeper temporarily houses 26 men. If the shelter is at full capacity, they are unable to offer additional beds. The executive director, staff, and caretakers do not have the discretion to make exceptions or 'pick' individuals for shelter. All individuals are treated equally and fairly. It appears that the person who submitted their opinion may have been turned away due to the shelter being full or asked to leave due to their own behavior.
