Mission Statement

"To provide places and programs for the preaching of the gospel of the Lord, Jesus Christ, and to win the lost to Christ To provide a Christian social service ministry to meet the spiritual, moral, and physical needs of men, women, and children To help educate and inform the public of the unique needs of the poor and needy in our society To provide and minister to those in need through Christian teaching, outreach, and job training in order that they may return to society as productive citizens To inform and educate the public regarding the service of the Emporia Rescue Mission, Inc. To inform the public how they, together with the Mission can better serve and minister to the needy and the homeless as a community of faith."

Description

Started in 1998 ERM provides free housing for men, a community food kitchen, and a free clothing boutique.

ERM has a history as a progressive organization and has established a faithful monthly-donor base.
