Description

Angie's Shelter for Women is a homelike residence that goes beyond the minimums of emergency shelter and provides a strong base to fulfill their main goal:
Angie's provides a safe environment and supports personal development to achieve self-sufficiency for homeless women committed to change.
Clients at Angie's, allied with the case management and support staff, are expected to make the necessary individual effort to return to permanent housing and independent living.
Angie's staff will assist every woman in whatever attempt they need toward searching for permanent full-time employment, searching for housing, saving money, using time productively, and taking advantage of supportive services or benefits identified by case managers.
Up to 16 women can stay at Angie's and individuals are welcome to stay for as long as they are without housing and actively pursuing their goal plans.
Residents share the living room and kitchen where they prepare their own meals.
